Where do your watches come from?
We source our pre-owned watches and jewelry from private sellers and trusted merchants in France and throughout the world. Every item undergoes a rigorous inspection before it is listed for sale.
Are the watches authentic?
Yes, we 100% guarantee the authenticity of every item we sell. Each watch is authenticated by qualified watchmakers.
How do you verify the condition of the watches?
Every watch is systematically checked and if needed, serviced, by our partner watchmakers before it is put up for sale.
What is the service history of the watches?
Since our watches are pre-owned, their service history can vary. We inspect and service every watch ourselves to ensure it is in proper working condition before it is sold. If we have documentation of a recent service performed by the original manufacturer, we will include that information on the product page.
Do your watches come with their original box and papers?
We do our best to acquire the original box, papers, and any other documentation with each watch. If a watch comes with these items, it will be clearly noted in the product description. The absence of these does not affect the authenticity of the watch.
Can I try on a watch before purchasing? How can I choose the right size?
Yes, you can try on watches by appointment in Paris. Please contact us to schedule a time that works for you. We can also help you find the right size and fit.
Warranty & Service
What kind of warranty do you offer on your watches?
Every pre-owned watch we sell comes with a 12-month limited warranty that begins on the day your order is delivered. This covers mechanical issues that occur under normal use.
What isn’t covered by the warranty?
Our warranty does not cover:
- Damage from drops, water exposure, or misuse.
- Normal wear and tear, such as scratches or battery replacement.
- Repairs or modifications made by anyone other than us.
My watch is still under its original manufacturer's warranty. What should I do?
If your watch is still covered by the original manufacturer's warranty, that warranty takes precedence. We are happy to help you figure out the best way to get the issue resolved.
How do I get my watch serviced under warranty?
Just email us at hello@oldities.com with your order number and a description of the issue. When you send the watch to us, please make sure it's well-protected in the packaging.
Returns & Exchanges
What is your return policy?
You can return an online purchase for a refund within 14 days of delivery, as long as it is in the same condition as when we sent it. All original packaging, certificates, papers, and accessories (if applicable) must also be included and in the same condition they were received.
Are there any items I can't return?
We cannot accept returns on:
- Customized or resized items.
- Items that have been repaired or altered by a third party after you purchased them.
- Special orders.
- Items in which the condition has been altered.
How do I return an item?
First, email us at hello@oldities.com within the 14-day return window. Please include your order number and the reason for the return. Then, securely pack the item and ship it back to us using a trackable and insured shipping method. You are responsible for the return shipping cost unless the return is due to our error.
How long will it take to get my refund?
Once we receive and inspect your return, we will issue a refund to your original payment method within 20 business days, minus the original shipping fee. Please note that if the item or any accessories are missing or damaged, we may issue a partial refund or, in cases of significant damage, may not be able to offer a refund at all.
Do you offer exchanges?
No, we don’t offer direct exchanges. If you would like a different item, please return your original purchase for a refund and then place a new order.
Shipping
How long does it take to process and ship an order?
We typically ship orders within 3–5 business days. Orders placed on a weekend or holiday will be processed on the next business day.
What shipping methods do you use?
We use trusted, insured carriers like UPS and DHL. You’ll be able to see all shipping options and costs at checkout.
How long will it take for my order to arrive?
- Within the EU: 2–3 business days.
- International: 3–5 business days, though customs processing time can vary.
Do you ship internationally?
Yes, we ship worldwide. Please keep in mind that the customer is responsible for any customs duties, taxes, or import fees, which vary by destination. For the US we are currently shipping with FedEx.
Are your shipments insured?
Yes, all shipments are fully insured and require a signature upon delivery for your security.
